The Association of Academic Publishers awarded a prize in the category: Best Academic Handbook of 2008 for the book "Information Filtering" written by prof. Witold Abramowicz.

During the 12th edition of Scientific Books Day organised in September 2008 in Poznan, Poland, the Association of Academic Publishers awarded a rev. Edward Pudelko Prize, in the category: Best Academic Handbook of 2008, to Publishing House of Poznan University of Economics for the book "Information Filtering" written by prof. Witold Abramowicz, Poznan 2008.

The book „Information Filtering”, written in Polish, summarizes the research record of the author gained at Poznan University of Economics (Poland), Technical University of Zurich (Switzerland) and Humboldt University (Germany). It includes results of numerous research projects the author participated in. The book incorporates also results and experience gained during the SUPER project.
