SUPER Summer School is organized at the Poznan University of Economics and involves students from The Poznan University of Economics as well as from Berufsakademie Heidenheim to work together in order to widen their knowledge in the area of Business Processes and Business Process Management.
During seven days of lectures students had an opportunity to familiarize themselves with practical and theoretical aspects of Business Process Management. Furthermore some new approaches to BPM such as the SUPER project outcomes and an example showing how to model and implement BP solution was presented. Students were introduced with such technologies connected with BP as BPEL, BPMN and ARIS Toolset. During the course students worked in groups, each of them modeling and implementing executable business processes. The result of the work of each group were presented in the final seminar presentation. After accomplishing one week of lectures, laboratories and consultations students were asked to prepare real-world BP models for "their companies" involving the knowledge that they gained during seven days of seminar.
